AcceleDent Aura adapts to your existing orthodontic appliance. Using SoftPulse Technology® for 20 minutes each day to accelerate tooth movement can reduce the duration of your orthodontic treatment and make the experience more comfortable.

Yes! AcceleDent Aura has been cleared by the United States Food and Drug Administration as a Class II medical device and has passed U.S. clinical trials as a safe orthodontic treatment option.

Orthodontic treatments can change the bones surrounding your teeth but accelerated processes can cause teeth to move quickly. AcceleDent Aura’s SoftPulse Technology employs micropulses to accelerate bone remodeling.

Research shows that AcceleDent accelerates tooth movement by up to 50%, potentially shortening conventional orthodontic treatment.

Mouthpiece bite pressure should be firm enough to hold your AcceleDent Aura in place without using your hands. Avoid forcible biting as this can cause excessive wear to the mouthpiece.

Thoroughly rinse the mouthpiece with lukewarm water after use. On occasion, it’s permissible to use liquid dishwashing detergent, mild soap or toothpaste to brush the mouthpiece. Wipe the activator with a soft cloth, as necessary. Do not place the mouthpiece or activator in a dishwasher! This will void the warranty and damage the product.

The AcceleDent Aura is not water resistant. Do not use it in the shower or while sleeping.

NO. AcceleDent Aura is a single-use prescription device, designed for your unique orthodontic treatment plan. Un-prescribed use of AcceleDent Aura may result in adverse consequences.

NO. Use beyond the prescribed 20 minutes daily duration is not recommended.

YES. AcceleDent Aura offers a FastTrac Usage Report that’s viewable when you connect the device to the USB port on your computer like a flash drive. It features usage summaries, daily usage graphs and daily usage tables.
